‘Out of the flock, into the nest.’

Third generation mixed media artist Nathanael Hardidge brings you ‘Out of the flock, into the nest’ an exhibition of his latest work.

This solo exhibition represents the culmination of eighteen months work for Nathanael, at a time in his life where he has been exploring themes of home, sacred space, the interconnection of all things, and the divine in the everyday.

Nathanael sees his creations as a natural manifestation of the concepts and emotions experienced in his daily life, but which does not translate easily into words hence he is an artist.

Nathanael’s love of a community social atmosphere and being an advocate for the accessibility of local fine art, underpinned his decision to place his work in APTE café.

“My artwork reflects my life and being a being a big believer in accessible art, I’d like for people to read their own story into the work.”

Prior to this exhibition, Nathanael’s art has moved and inspired Melbournians in bars and cafes for the last eight years including sell out shows and a five-year residency at Camberwell’s ‘Bar None’.
